🚛 Colton and the Semi-Truck Adventure 🐉
Semi-trucks are also called big rigs or eighteen-wheelers 🛻. These trucks transport about 70% of all goods to businesses and farmers 🌽🍎. Without them, a large part of our food supply chain would come to a halt!
This story was written with my sister, Linda, in mind. She drives for a company called Wesco, and her routes sometimes keep her on the road for days at a time 🛣️. She sleeps in the sleeper cab — a cozy “home away from home” 🛏️.
In this story, Colton’s aunt stops for a visit on her way to pick up a trailer with her semi-truck 🚛. Colton persuades his mother to let him ride along. Of course, his new baby dragon 🐉 will be safely hidden in Colton’s shirt pocket.
When Linda stops to rest in the sleeper, Colton and his dragon decide to help out — by driving the truck themselves! 🏎️💨 What follows is a teeth-chattering, nail-gripping ride 😱.
